He’s the only shooter on the team that plays so he takes a lot of tough shots, also imagine if Paul George freshmen year was spent at a big school. Sometimes you have to project.

If Paul George spent his first year at a big school he probably would have shot even better than the 48%/44% he put up at Fresno. What's this kid supposed to do when he gets to the NBA if he can't even adjust to Duke?

He would have been going up against better talent and guys that he couldn’t physically dominate. If Cam was at a smaller school he dominate and probably average 20 but he has to defer to Barrett and Zion. Look at this game.

Again, if that's the logic you're using, what the hell is Cam gonna do in the pros?

I can't recall any highly touted prospect shooting even close to this bad in college. He's putting up Marshall Henderson shooting percentages while being a third option, not first.

But explain 36/34 to me. How is that translating to the NBA?

I think a lot of has to do with how he’s fitting in next to Zion and rj and Trae Jones in a sense. They dominate the ball so much that most of cams shots are spot up jumpers and his spot up percentage is a lot worse than when he creates for himself but to answer your question he’s perfect wing size with skills to potentially become a star with the right guidance.
