This shyt is retared. Harden putting up monster numbers every time out & I have 0 desire to even want to turn a Rockets game on to watch it because the whole thing is a giant gimmick.

And that’s the shyt folk do t respect about harden and the refs.. the moment he can’t get those free throws he disappears

They can live by the 3 but they don't have to die by the 3. They just chuck and chuck and chuck and don't try to switch it up. That becomes very predictable in the playoffs and lead to things like 27 straight missed 3s.

Then run different sets for your main scorers other than them chucking up 3s. For example I've noticed Harden doing that step back 2 more and posting up sometimes. They don't go to that enough. How about CP3 and his high post game? No they are at the top of the key either chucking it up from 3 or trying to force their way to the basket. Run plays. No Dantoni doesn't do that. It's the same offensive scheme for both their stars and role players. Chuck 3s or get to the line.

I don't know what the fukk the talent level matters in this case, you can do other stuff in a game than shoot 3s at a goofy pace. Gerald Green took 15 shots & they were all 3s, you can't get these guys to cut to the rim for some lobs or something?

Not even their role players they can run different schemes for their main scorers to get different looks other than trying to force their way to the line or chuck up 3s.

Welp it's pretty easy to see Harden will put up another 2017 game 6 vs Spurs performance in the post-season since D'Antoni is hell-bent on killing him and not doing his job with proper rotations

You misinterpreted my point. Where did I mention the aesthetics of Rockets basketball? I only mentioned strategy. If your offense is chuck 3s, and if the 3s don't fall chuck more 3s, what happens when the 3s don't fall? You get the result you get in WCF game 7. You have to be able to adjust when your schemes are not working. The Rockets do not do that (on offense)and adjustments are critical in the playoffs. No one is saying completely change the offense. But find a back up plan or make some tweaks when your chuck 3s only plan is clearly not working. Like making 23 threes after attempting 70.

How are they supposed to acquire talent? They have no trade assets anyone wants. They're stuck with what they have. Have to hope to find a hidden gem in the G-League or get lucky once buyouts start.
