Even Bamba over Ayton? He hasn't looked that good either. To me anyway
Bamba has been pretty good, Ayton been excellent. I just like Bamba package for Atlanta more than Ayton. Ayton is more ready and more talented but Bamba ceiling is higher. He can be a 20PPG scorer with elite defense and could become even better than that in the future. I need to do our radio show with @Motife43 again

No he's not. No one is playing better than Bagley right now in college basketball

Agree to disagree. I think Ayton will be the better player. Just like someone else said both Ayton and Bagley are just bigger than the player's they're facing right now.

I personally like how Ayton can pass out of the double team. Has a decent 12-15 footer. And dude motor is insane.

I only watched two of his games so far. I'm going to watch several of his games to see what the fuss is about.

I'm still fukking with Ayton Bulls brehs...

Bagley is impressive at his age... I can't really talk about how weak he looks, cause he's so young. But if I read accounts that he has an great work ethic, then I'm on board.

La Bamba shooting 3's drives me crazy...but his frame looks like he'll be a monster in 3 years....

How?

Bamba is a better functional athlete, his BBIQ is much higher, his off the ball movement on offense and defense is better. On the ball on both ends, he's a work in progress. He has an excellent shooting touch and could develop into a plus shooter. He's fast in the open court for a center. His length and agility will cause anyone issues in the NBA.

Now Ayton reminds me of Jermiane O'Neal just much bigger and better. Similar skill-set but O'Neal didn't have those tools, size or that talent and ability at such a young age.

His motor is notoriously one of his biggest red flags. If he did have an insane motor, he'd be the unanimous #1 pick of the draft. :what:

Come to think about it a lot of these 2018 have some major concerns.

Bamba - he's frail and can get bullied. I worry about a Nerlens situation where he's good in space and can rim protect against guys on the perimeter driving in but he get's bullied 1 v 1 and for rebounds. He's better on offense than Nerlens by a lot though. He might be my favorite guy not sure.

Ayton- He does some alarmingly bad stuff on defense. Not block chasing like KAT but not contesting easily contestable shots and just flat missing rotations. Could be youth..could be something wrong with his inherit defensive instincts and it takes a long time to teach that if at all for some cats

Doncic - White euro wing...that's almost enough said. He's had by far the most success against the toughest competition but he faces the most challenge in terms of the transition to the L. Going up against wash outs and other euro's gonna prepare you to guard/get guarded by guys like Giannis?

Bagley - I dunno for some reason ultra production at the college level scares me when it comes to bigs...specifically tweeners. Might be that Derrick Williams/Royce White syndrome. Dude is a better athlete than them and it looks like he gives a shyt but I'm seeing a guy out working dudes and not a guy with a whole bunch of skill/elite athleticism.

Porter - looked slow with the ball when I saw him in H.S. He's got skill and height but I don't think he's gonna be a high level creator for himself..plus the back issue it's kind of scary with dude.

It's early though and opinions can change. Plus these cats are young...so weaknesses now don't necessarily mean weaknesses later.

Not not ashamed to be educated. So he is raw on the offensive side?
He's going be a very good offensive player. He has a lot of potential on that end of the court that Gobert just didn't have. He also has a better frame. He could add maybe 5-10 More pounds than Rudy when it's all said and done

Yea bamba raw he needs to be developed more offensively & gain some weight but he's one of those players that you project a few years from now

He's got range he can shoot 3's but he's gonna be a beast on defense like gobert. He's more athletic than gobert too

Bagley's motor shyts on Ayton's motor. Did you watch Bagley against Texas and Florida?

He's gonna take more time on defense than offense. He has a lot to learn on defense. His impact comes exclusively from his length, size, athletic ability and BBIQ but like Ayton, they don't know how to play defense yet. But once they do, watch out, especially Bamba.
