What do you think of the job Brett Brown has done to ween Ben Simmons off the Bron ball shyt ASAP? Those first 4 games he was on the ball non-stop calling for high screens, since then Brown has been running sets where he's coming off curls and catching the ball in motion and causes him to make decisions faster and harder for the defense to get set against him. Sixers are 3rd in the league in APG, which is pretty surprising considering their age, Simmons is looking more like a high powered Draymond minus the three on offense now, not so much of a ball stopper. Giannis plays more Bron Ball than him IMO and Brett making that subtle change has really opened shyt up for him/them.

I mentioned in another thread prior to this season that BB's system would remain even with a player like Simmons added to the mix:

#4 in passes made in 2014/15
#3 in passes made in 2015/16
#1 in passes made in 2016/17 (30 more passes per game than the #2 ranked team), as well as traveling more distance on offense than any other team
#1 in passes made in 2017/18

I'm definitely not surprised he's already got Simmons playing off the ball this early in the season.
