I don't like this kind of stuff, okafor and hezonja both are becoming UFAs and their respectice teams didn't even really try to get anything for them. Thats an asset you're just letting walk away from you
6ers cut off Hinkie too early. Things like paying Reddikk THAT much money and basically wasting Okafor would’ve been managed differently

The best scorer I've seen from an efficiency standpoint but if he really wants to be the goat scorer, he needs to improve his scoring when things don't go his way

On another note man James Harden is gonna get exposed something serious in the playoffs. He literally just runs in the lane with no intentions of doing anything and either turns it over or badly misses a layup. They giving this dude way less calls. Dude's gonna have to find another shtick and this is coming from someone that has kind of defended him in the past. His game looks even uglier without all the free throws.
He's got another 70+ games to figure it out. Better that, than getting away with the same bullshyt all throughout the regular season; enabling all his bad habits, and he can't adjust for the playoffs. It might be too late for him to change his game (he'll be approaching 29 when the postseason comes around), but at least how he's officiated now, will put him in the best possible position to fix his game.

What are they gonna get for them??

If teams out there were really clamoring over Hezonja and Okafor like that they would of been gone by now.

Bulls in particular have tried to acquire Okafor a few times. Not sure about hezonja, but its not like they had him on the block afaik. Plus theyre young players on rookie deals so you might as well keep around another year to avoid needing to spend more than you need in cap replacing them

Okafor to Boston would be a great look for both parties - Celtics need some more frontcourt scoring off the bench, and Okafor needs a stable, player/team development environment.
