I'm sure you'll like this @Gil Scott-Heroin you've been preaching about Al Horford's defense.

Porzingis v. Celtics - 3 out of 14, 12 points
Embiid v. Celtics - 4 out of 16, 11 points
LMA v. Celtics - 5 out of 13, 11 points

And that can largely be attributed to his efforts. His help defense all over the floor has been incredible too. I think what's helped him out most, is that Boston's starting lineup is A LOT bigger and longer this season, and the holes are more manageable to cover.

During the 2017 Finals, after every game ESPN does interviews with the players and it really stood out to me when Andre Iguodala said he thought "Kyrie should have been Finals MVP in 2016". It's one thing for some fans to think that it's another for a player with a bball IQ like Iggy to think it. Speaks volumes.
Yeah, I made it no secret that I thought Kyrie should've been considered for FMVP (at the very least), because he was the one largely instrumental for igniting the Cavs offense in the back half of that series, whereas LeBron and the rest of the team actually rode the waves that Kyrie created.

And you're exactly right, the fact that this player:

Behind the screen: Inside the defensive mind of Andre Iguodala
Andre Iguodala — the Warriors player who's been guarding LeBron James in the Finals — has spent 11 years studying how to stop him
Andre Iguodala explains his approach to defense (VIDEO)

believes the same; one who not only puts in more defensive film study and preparation than 99% of the league, knows LeBron's impact on a game like the back of his hand, and was actually on court while all this was happening - speaks the volumes of a Krakatoa eruption.

Of course Iggy said that, Lebron destroyed him and he was the main defender on him.

I stanned Iggy so hard in Philly :mjcry: Even when nikkas wanted him traded I would defend him.

Brilliant defensive player and one of my favorite all time Sixers.

I don't like this kind of stuff, okafor and hezonja both are becoming UFAs and their respectice teams didn't even really try to get anything for them. Thats an asset you're just letting walk away from you
What are they gonna get for them??

If teams out there were really clamoring over Hezonja and Okafor like that they would of been gone by now.
