Kyrie is really dispelling a lot of the things many people thought about him going into this season (myself included) and it's pretty clear he made the right decision for his career. Boston hasn't played many high powered offenses but it speaks volumes that they have the 2nd best defensive rating in the league with him in the starting lineup (while Cleveland is 27th)
Looking back and seeing Isaiah Thomas, Kyle Lowry, Damian Lillard, Demar Derozan, & John Wall make All NBA teams over him the past 2 years really speaks volumes about how playing Bron Ball stunted his individual accolades and growth as a player. I had my gripes with his game for a while (even thinking things like the Cavs were better with Delly in 2016 before he proved me wrong in the playoffs and in the Finals) but I think you could make the case that he's better than all of them.......he just hasn't been blessed to be in a solid situation outside of LeBron until now. So much how you're viewed as a player in the NBA based on what situation you're placed in and I can definitely say I didn't view him correctly because for years I thought he was just a a chucker who didn't play defense.
