Kyrie, like Carmelo and others, was viewed as a chucker who doesn't bring anything else to the game. Now he is showing is an underrated passer and very good defender when he puts his mind to it. I felt Kyrie never got the credit he deserved vs. Lebron for the 2016 NBA finals comeback.

What you "think" about a player isn't always what is "true" about a player. Sometimes the player is a product of system they are a part of. Kyrie wasn't expected to be a passer or bring anything else. He was told let Lebron handle the rock and just score.

Imagine if he went to the Knicks for example with KP. That would have been a nice combo.

During the 2017 Finals, after every game ESPN does interviews with the players and it really stood out to me when Andre Iguodala said he thought "Kyrie should have been Finals MVP in 2016". It's one thing for some fans to think that it's another for a player with a bball IQ like Iggy to think it. Speaks volumes.

Team is ruining the league

I don't think you've been watching. I'd say there's already been a number of entertaining games this year.....and the player movement in the offseason with teams trying to create a competitive team was great. I'd even say that the Clips are better this year than they were last year....

Don't be mad at our allstar team, be mad at Doc & co for shi**ing on us. They created this monster (the lopsided rivalry between us)...

this is true. he became a better playmaker playing with Lebron though

And how much more credit do y'all want kyrie to get ? Breh got on the cover of nba 2k, he basically is superstar status, but the guy he wa playing with was leading both teams in all categories so yeah... its kinda hard to top that.

And yeah kyrie and Porzi would have been :banderas: to watch.

Yeah, like I said last week, him not getting those calls is the best thing for his game. It's the only way he'll improve. You can see he's frustrated as hell out there, but he'll learn to embrace it and find ways to actually score, rather than exhausting those same loopholes he was accustomed to.
The best scorer I've seen from an efficiency standpoint but if he really wants to be the goat scorer, he needs to improve his scoring when things don't go his way
