I love Porter but some guys just are best as role players. Otto is that. He had God given talent and a great feel for the game but he don't have that dog in him.

Paul.pierce once said Porter is another who doesn't realize how good he can be. And that he wishes he'd punch Porter to make him assertive. Porter is mad smart. Builds car engines. Makes music.. He doesn't impose himself on the team and just fills in blanks. Hes the most efficient shooter possibly in the league. You expand his role like they are doing Now and have him fill in that shooting hole and he'll step up. He's cerebral. And already he can do it. Where they are Now is allowing him to do things off the dribble/ off picks/ attacking closeouts. He adds an iso arsenal and I give him the ultimate green light. He's a better shooter than the superstars at the wing according to numbers.

He's not an AAU guy. So just have him be a leader. Challenge him. Give him freedom and scheme for him and sky is the limit. He won't have flash but he'll sneaky murk you

Kristaps mid post game is already deadly as fukk, that's something it took Dirk 13 years to get :wtf:
KP is a deadly gifted player.
Go and look up some tape on 2003 Kobe. I think you are underrating him SEVERELY as an athlete. 2003 was his peak athletically and I would put that version of Kobe up there with the best version of Jordan when it comes to the greatest combination of skill and athleticism we've ever seen in the NBA.

While Giannis is freakishly tall and long and very athletic at that size but his skills (especially shooting) are so lacking its silly to even compare him to any of the all-time greats. You can't have a weakness that pronounced and be compared to the likes of Kobe and LeBron.

LeBron is sort of the halfway point between Giannis and Kobe. He's definitely more gifted athletically than Kobe but his skills are not as good as Kobe. And while he lacks Giannis' size or length, he was more athletic and much more skilled. Its silly to even bring Giannis into these debates until he proves he can lead a team beyond the first or second round of the weak eastern conference playoffs.
Kobe in his prime was an amazing athlete but he's not the tier of athlete that LeBron, Giannis, Jordan, Westbrook is.

I am talking just athletics. I am not in the mood to talk history or accomplishments.

He's a black hole on offense though. He's averaging less than 1 assist per game. I wish he would do a better job of surveying the floor before he decides to shoot the rock.

I personally think he's in the wrong system. Put him in the Spurs system and he's a top 5 NBA player. My favorite Wizard by far and I been to over 50 Wizards games. Even my wife agrees on this.

Now who else wanna fukk with Hollywood Court?
He's got the length to go with it too. Knicks can build an elite PnR defense around him and KP.

I knew he had defensive potential, I just didn't expect him to be this good on that side of the ball so soon, he looks like a pest in man to man situations and has been shockingly good for his age in team defense.

That will come in time, once teams start sending help he'll have to learn how to find teammates, for now he's learning how to score.

nikkas so disrespectful to Kareem :hhh:

GOAT resume. But on the court his skill set was not as elite as the top 5.

nikkas gotta separate accomplishment from actual skill level. I rate my top 5 based solely on ability NOT accomplishments.

FTR you don't wanna see who I have rated 6-10. It'll anger you more than my top 5.

I think Kobe the pure athlete is in the same class as those guys. I wouldn't say he's better than any of them (other than maybe Westbrook because of his superior height). But he's in that class.
