I'm expecting some "The Magic got next" threads to pop up.

Rudy Gobert is giving up 70% at the rim right now, numbers from anyone that isn't a star should be taken with a grain of salt right now.

I just saw a few "Vucevic has transformed himself into a good defender" takes on Twitter :russ:

That Rockets/Hornets game was :trash:

Straight up allowed us to chuck our way to a dub. Clifford had Kemba guarding Harden. :dead:

They both went lottery, so it's not like it was a big gap between them and a big reason why Thon wasn't viewed the same as Bender is because other GMs didn't/dont believe his age. What is really worrying with Thon is just how bad he is at rebounding, it's not just a strength issue he seems to have no horrible rebounding instincts overall.

Before the draft nikkas were acting as tho Thon was damn near second round stays when arguing for bender being a top 5 pick :heh:. Then ended up both being lotto picks but for the life of me I'll never understand how bender was getting hyped by the same ppl shytting on Thon. Black ppl at that. I don't get it. Not even saying Thon will be great but going into the process, all things considered Bender and Thon desereved to be looked at similarly. Now they both suck similarly :pachaha:. But I'm not giving up on Thon. Needs to get bigger and tougher and stop trying to camp out at the 3

Towns is a once in a generation type talent cause of straight skills, Embid and Porzingis are there cause of their physical advantages :yeshrug:, Towns is on another level compared to them 2 offensively, and they both are already great offensive players.

KAT is the best big with his back to the basket and facing up, dude is elite at every single offensive skill you could think of. My dark horse MVP choice.

Embiid got size but he has a crazy feel to learn things. His size helps him yes but it's easy to him. And he can play both sides of the court and he has no holes. It's easier to build around him

Embid will never catch up to KAT offensively, KAT is younger and already better at every facet of the game OFFENSIVELY, let's get a full season from Joel before we say "it's easier to build around him", this is impossible to know at this point. Minnesota is building around KAT right now and could be top 5 on the West this season.
