Rim protection numbers for the first 5 games are horrific for everyone that was elite last year
Even though I enjoy watching it, this is why I can never take the first 15-20 games of the season serious in terms of making inferences on teams/players.
Every year some teams, players, rookies go on an early tear before teams get settled in and that reality hits dudes who thought shyt was sweet from the early season nonchalant style of play.

Skal is my nikka too tbh. I made that Skal has next thread that backfired@I AM WARHOL Thon has looked worse this season than last year, he's showing why teams wereand why the Bucks probably reached for the wrong international big, as Skal looks like a much better player and in line with what the Bucks want from Thon.
He's so weak under the boards it will be 2-3 yrs before he can even hold his ground.
. Thon really might end out still being trash but bender most likely will too and my biggest thing was I didn't understand how ppl loved bender while hating thon. I still think thon has a ton of potential since he's still only 20. Too early to give up on the homie

KAT is finally playing defense and rotating well so far this game, he has challenged everything at the basket. Wolves D has looked good so far.

They both went lottery, so it's not like it was a big gap between them and a big reason why Thon wasn't viewed the same as Bender is because other GMs didn't/dont believe his age. What is really worrying with Thon is just how bad he is at rebounding, it's not just a strength issue he seems to have no horrible rebounding instincts overall.
I'm expecting some "The Magic got next" threads to pop up.
Rudy Gobert is giving up 70% at the rim right now, numbers from anyone that isn't a star should be taken with a grain of salt right now.
