It’s only 4 games in, but I’m going here right now.

If Giannis is going to spazz out like this all year. Why can’t the bucks get the 3rd or even 2nd seed? His pieces are good enough to support this monster of a season this cat looks like he is about to have. This is some Lebron 2009 shyt in a weak east. Hell I won’t even count out the #1 seed with all the bs around the cavs right now.

Nah. GNG has always been about playing slow, defensive, ugly basketball, spearheaded by Zach and Tony. Mike and Marc were never considered GNG.
They play tough physical defense like the usually do, the difference I see is on the offensive end.

He needs a #2 option, when Jabari coming back. He literally was that last year.

@MooseMouthMthafuga This is all I wanted Earl to do.

Jackson at 3 makes a ton of sense if you give him the ball but let's be clear, the big issue is Mike James is a willing passing and moves off the ball, something Bledsoe wasn't doing with the starting 5.

The Warriors facing beat up tomato cans has been the case their entire run.
Answer the question - has LeBron faced worse competition over the last three postseasons?
The only agenda is the one where they and sycophants like you alternate between pretending like they really went through something and making excuses for why its ok or somehow still impressive. When all else fails blame Lebron like a dumb casual.
:merchant:

And what has LeBron gone "through" over the same period? How is what he did "impressive", when he's faced WORSE competition? How is it fair for you to shyt on the Warriors for the lack of competition in the Western conference playoffs, when LeBron has faced worse competition? You've been propping up what LeBron does in the playoffs over the last three years (against worse competition), yet turned your nose up at what the Warriors have done in the playoffs over the same period (against better competition). Do I need to reiterate this again for you to get the picture?

It's the very definition of being hypocritical.

As a new coach coming in after a sour breakup you gotta take credit for stuff like that to solidify your spot :manny:

Mike James is definitely their guy, he's looking like the Yogi Ferrell/Mike Frazier of this year, he's a guy whose definitely put the work in and wants to prove he belongs in the league. He's going to play hard and smart, which is going to light a fire under the team regardless of coach.

@DetroitEWarren fact from fiction :mjgrin:

In transition, you can't stop Fox. Just to much burst and agility.

Needs to speed up his release and extend his range 5-7 feet. Thats going to make or break him IMO. Good 17-15 feet in.

Definitely think he is a slower decision maker and not as advanced a passer as Fultz, Ball or even Smith.

Gonna be a really good on-ball defender. Has to add strength and fight over screens though.

Not averaging 20ppg this year:mjlol::rudy::umad:

Fox is gonna be a superstar or a good PG. I don't see him being a top 10 Mike Conley PG but then again, he could be much better. He's one of those players who he has to dominate with his strengths, the things he is average at now, become elite at it and just say fukk the weaknesses, it is what it is. If he can do that, he might be a top 5 player by 2024. It's gonna be tough but he's only 19.

has to become an elite shooter and find a way to consistently draw help to sniff top 5 imo.

Ehh...there's other ways to offset not being an elite shooter at the PG position but it'll definitely make life much easier for him if he can pump out consistent 35+% from 3 seasons at some point. His midrange pullup is already where it needs to be from the elbows, and Wall and Westbrook have ate off that shot their entire careers. :hubie:

I thought his J was gonna be completely broke but it isn't, and given his frame it seems like him and Fultz aren't really as far apart as prospects as I originally thought. If he stays healthy and the Kings don't completely botch their rebuild I have faith that Fox will one day be a top 5 PG.

Probably because the Warriors are a "team" and Lebron is a "player".

What they've accomplished is judged accordingly. You can't just judge competition straight up, you have to consider who else Lebron had on his team too. Lebron sweeping Atlanta in 2015 was incredible not just because he did it against a 60-win team, but because he did it with Delly, Shump, JR, Mosgov, and TT as his entire cast. No single Golden State player has ever been asked to do as much.

Even so, Lebron has objectively faced better competition. Name three teams the Warriors have faced that were as good as the 2015 Warriors, 2016 Warriors, and 2017 Warriors.

i actually made that post regarding ball who has to become an elite shooter and find a way to consistently draw help to sniff top 5 player imo.

wall and westbrook are a different tier of passers from fox tho

his vision definitely lags behind fultz/ball/dsj by a decent margin
