I know the Warriors are prohibitive favorites to win the title but it feels like if the Warriors draw any two of Utah, Memphis and San Antonio on their way to the Finals they might not win the chip just from being beat up by the end of it.

Im sure it'll all fall into place and they'll get to the Finals facing some combination of overachieving teams that never should've been there and teams hobbled by injuries. As usual.

Nah. GNG has always been about playing slow, defensive, ugly basketball, spearheaded by Zach and Tony. Mike and Marc were never considered GNG.

Here's the thing that folks who don't follow the Grizzlies on a daily basis should understand. For all the things that Z-Bo and Tony have done and meant to both the city and team, fact is on the court (and sometimes in the locker room) they've really held the team back for the last two years.

This is the style that's always suited Mike and Marc and now they finally have the keys firmly handed to them as well as the pieces around them to be successful. That's why folks like myself and @holidayinn21 weren't tripping when the organization let Zach and Tony walk. My only concern was how the team would handle the intangibles with those two gone and so far the team hasn't missed a beat
