Why don't more teams just fight through screens instead of automatically allowing teams to get the switch they want?

How is it beneficial for the Twolves to allow Gibson to switch onto Dinwiddie as opposed to Butler fighting through that screen and staying with him?

Dinwiddie hit a tough shot (in which he was fouled with no call) but still....
This and hard traps. My guess would be these teams are using some type of analytics to discourage them even attempting it.

People really think Robes is going to get benched for a dude who got hot against the Lakers? :dead:

Abrines is more likely to get stuck to the bench than Robes is. Abrines can't catch a break on defense since even when he plays good defense the refs hit him with a call & nobody throws him the ball enough on offense (outside of Melo) to really get going.

Donovan has been using Robes as a PF on offense like he did in the playoffs against the Warriors a couple years ago instead of just sticking him in the corner. It's part of the reason things started looking better on offense in December.

The Celtics own a 2.5-game lead over the Raptors and a 4.5-game lead over the Cavaliers in the Eastern Conference. They’re 1-0 against Toronto and 1-1 against Cleveland.

The Celtics have played four games against the top three seeds in the West (Golden State, Houston, San Antonio), and they’ve compiled a strong 3-1 record against them. They’ve won their lone meetings with the Warriors and Rockets, and they’ve gone 1-1 against the Spurs (albeit without Kawhi Leonard in both meetings).

Taking it a step further, the Celtics are 5-1 in their six games against the Western Conference playoff field, and they’re 13-7 against the entire NBA playoff field.

You should already know Ferguson is more than "some dude who got hot against the Lakers" they drafted him SPECIFICALLY to replace Roberson. He was brought in to be the 3 and D player that they hoped Roberson would become. Abrines will be the first to hit the bench im sure but it will probably be the beginning of Roberson making his way out of the league.

Its insane that OKC fans, media and staff have copped pleas for him for this long. Roberson is not good enough on defense for him to be that bad on offense. They shipped Thabo out for a dude whose the same exact player as him, but even MORE inept of a shooter :snoop:

They saying this was the day in practice Roberson knew he was going to lose his spot

Roberson is so trash offensively, I was shocked to discover the nikka was born in the U.S... i was convinced Roberson was from overseas

well i think fergusons potential is more than just a 3 and D guy....but hes got a long way to go to take robersons starting spot. he cant come close to robersons defense with that frail body. its going to take an offseason or two to get his strength up to par.

the offense and athleticism is nice though. people cant be getting so excited over one game though. lets see what he does tonight against the clippers who are playing well right now.
