If I was Washingotn,
I'd be very concerned with Scott Brooks ability to coach transition defense moving forward
2009/2010 OKC under Brooks - 5th best team in opponent transition points
2010/2011 OKC under Brooks - 5th best team in opponent transition points
2011/2012 OKC under Brooks - 4th best team in opponent transition points
2012/2013 OKC under Brooks - 11th best team in opponent transition points (
only .1 of a point from being in the top 10)
2013/2014 OKC under Brooks - 13th best team in opponent transition points (
only .1 of a point from being in the top 10)
2014/2015 OKC under Brooks - 12th best team in opponent transition points (
only .2 of a point from being in the top 10)
They were basically a top-10 defensive team in transition for the six seasons Brooks was the fulltime coach (disregarding his first season as coach when he took over from Carlesimo part way through) - one of the best and most consistent teams over that span.
