I don't think its hard to believe; what remains to be seen is how far they can go before getting exposed for their lack of rim protection

It was just a figure of speech more than anything else.
Their rim protection ain't that bad, and when the death lineup plays more minutes in the postseason Draymond and Durant in the frontcourt will be enough to close out games.

They wanted a player with a defined position. Dunn was off the board so Hield was the next best thing for them (and they figured Hield could contribute right away since everyone wants to get AD help so bad.)
