EDIT: I like this move because it's a cap-efficient way for us to address our clusterfukk of an issue with rebounding and he's a defensive presence. I wonder whether his time away from the game may have caused his game to fall off but apparently he's been working out with the Cs so he has something left in the tank.
And if he ends up being exactly what we need (if it he does join us), this allows us to address other positions through free agency/trades.

Exactly. He'd be much cheaper than Bogut and, despite his time away from the game, has much more upside than Bogut at this point. And if it works out, we can get real creative on the type of free agents to pursue and/or players to draft.

I haven't at all. I'm all for the resurrection of the Sixers, but last time I checked they're still a year or two away and that's if things keep breaking right. I'm just interested in seeing more results
