I feel like Noel is a much better next to Embiid. Okafor would be a top 6th Man ,but his ego wouldn't embrace it and its indicative(with the DNPs) its not gonna work out in Philly for him and a change of scenery is much needed.

As a Bulls fan I think he could be salvaged Rondo/a pick could be a decent swap for him. Though Philly needs 1 who can shoot the 3 ball, Rondo may be able to able to fill the bridge for his last stand , till he gets ran out the league.

I don't think any #3 draft pick is gonna embrace coming off the bench. He needs to be traded.

He shouldn't have been drafted by Philly in the 1st case.

Somebody wanna make a thread on this?

The voting process is still a work in progress, but above anything, it’s an exhibition game meant to showcase the best of the best do their respective things on the court. It hardly means anything. In fact, All-Star appearances have become less and less of a player-ranking barometer over time. It’s a great honor, don’t get me wrong, but the weight an All-Star appearance bears should not be comparable to something like an All-NBA or All-Defensive team selection. After all, why would being more popular with fans equate to being a better basketball player overall? Nonetheless, it’s still the best way to include fans in the action, and is one of the highest-televised exhibition games in the world. There are a couple points worth talking about leading up to the big game, though.

Sure the actual game is meaningless, but being an all-star is an achievement. Obviously not on the same level of winning MVP or making an All-NBA team, but it's a proud accomplishment. I liked the new voting changes. Guys like Zaza & Wade would've been starting instead of Anthony Davis & DeRozan.

There's no perfect system, there's always gonna be players that people felt like were snubs, but in terms of positive change, it was a great move
