They're going to max Lowry out, Masai doesn't let his players walk. Maybe he gives them a slight deal for believing in him, but I don't see him leaving unless the offer is some disrespectful shyt. Is that how Raptor fans feel, or is that how you feel? Like is the rest of Toronto like :ld: at the thought of resigning him.

Most fans want him back...Im sure Masai isnt thinking about not offering it to him right now,but things can happen in the next 6 months breh.

The Raptors would be fools to let this guy go.

Both the Clippers and Raptors are in the same position with Cp3 and Lowry. They're both basically are going to have to bite the bullet and pay these guys the max because they're damned if they do but really really damned if they don't. This is a point guard's league and you're completely fukked if you don't have one. They both have elite ones. I think in the case of Lowry he really hasn't played that many minutes in his NBA career so he'll be a young 31 so his breakdown potential is probably a bit exaggerated . In the case of Cp3 he'll be good enough even with even more drop in athleticism to be worth it.

If either of these teams let these guys go they're basically conceding to rebuild, which is probably not the best look business wise. Longterm maybe the Clips have run it's course and Doc's moves have put them in a horrible position to get better without completely blowing it up but it really feels they have no choice but to ride this out.

With the Raptors I get the sense that MLSE is just about the business and having a Lowry/Derozan core even for the next 4-5 years has brought some respectability to the franchise even if they don't necessarily have a chance to win the chip longterm with Milwaukee & Philly emerging and Lebron running things now.

I generally agree with you and the Lowry not having miles on his body is important to note but i cant help but think the second half run and playoffs will be important in the decision....Lowry is great and the heart and soul of this team but if that aint good enough to get to the 2nd round in consecutive seasons in weak conference you have to explore the option maybe its not a great idea to max him out....at least it will put alot of doubt in peoples minds...

I'm certain that Kyle Lowry will re-sign with the Raptors. They will open up the vault for him.

Ingram will be a star, boy, how don't you see that shyt. Kid is only 18-19 and still raw, but the upside is bananas. I think DLo will be a let down though
