Doc Rivers draws up great inbounds plays after timeouts, so I'm not sure the Xs and Os argument is legitimate. What coach DOESN'T need talent to win? Doc Rivers is just part of the Coli's :mjpls: policy when it comes to NBA coaching staffs. How y'all constantly shyt on Doc Rivers while propping up the Van Gundys and Rick Carlisles of the world is beyond me.

Docs offensive Xs and Os are excellent and his in-game adjustment are good too. Not a fan of his substitution patterns and line ups all the time but for the most part his coaching can't be denied. His GMing is another thing though

SVG is prob the best coach in the league. His prep adjustments to each team are really impressive. If you watch a dominant defensive system and want to know effective play calling against said system watch what the Pistons do against them.

Detroit is young and doesn't have consistent shooting but SVG is a bball grand master
