Meh, we're not very good though, and frankly, 7 game trip or not, 2nd of a back to back after double OT or not, that's not a game they should be losing. Hell, we scored 108 in the win, and they just scored 105 through 3 QUARTERS. They're gonna rip off another 10 or 15 game streak, and it's gonna get to the point where it SHOULD be 40+ were it not for us.

this humble bragging ass nikka :heh:

Wonder if @GoddamnyamanProf is watching this?
where was this last year? it's gotta be out of him and Selby for most disappointing KU career

Outside Embiid (and he even ended up getting injured) and somewhat Wiggins, i cant think of any highly hyped recruits that lived up to the hype under Bill Self. Its happening with Diallo and Bragg this season
He has no leeway for defensive mistakes and goes extra hard on the young guys. I wouldn't ever play for Kansas if I was a top 15 recruit

Thunder vs Cavs tonight on TNT.
Should be a great one.
Nice warm up for Cleveland before the Warriors.

I predict a down to the wire game.

Why not? We're a blue-blood breh. Our name is our name. If anything, I wouldn't come play for Self because he refuses to run and gun. The year Embiid went down, I just knew deep down he was gonna unleash the flutes on 'em guru....and yet, he didn't.....run the offense thru Perry Ellis when you have thoroughbreds brehs :martin:

Exactly. He is very set in his ways and trusts the guys that he likes and has no patience for anyone else.
Sure Cliff Alexander never passed the ball last year (For example) but he dominated the board and was the most atheltic big in 99% the games they played.
Even someone like Brannen Greene, yeah he misses rotations sometimes and takes some questionable shots but his 3 pointer shooting opens up the floor so much. When he is on the court he may rip off 3-4 threes in a stretch of a few possessions at any moment and completely take the opposition out of the game. This is the risk you take when you play him that he isn't a great help defender. But when you have that type of upside, i think Greene should be out there more (as well as Diallo)
Josh Selby and Xavier Henry might still be in the NBA if Self really let them play through their mistakes and work with them. Instead he put them in the dog house.

Don't get me wrong Self is a very good coach. He understands bball but I just don't agree with his approach towards developing highly talented young players.
Coach K, Calipari, even Sean Miller, Thad Matta and Roy Will are all > in that aspect

Xavier Henry would be in the NBA if he didn't keep getting hurt. That's an unfortunate thing...not a Bill Self thing. He had found a nice situation in LA and tore his Achilles.

The Suns mishandling of the Isaiah Thomas/Dragic/Morris Twins has been worse than anything Hinkie's ever done. Maybe the NBA should step in

Bledsoe was injury prone and holding out in contract talks because Rich Paul wanted him to get a max deal. Isaiah Thomas was insurance in case they didn't have Bledsoe long term. Things got ugly with the three point guard drama but in the end, having a backcourt rotation of Bledsoe, Knight, and Booker isn't so bad.

Trading Marcus Morris to make room for Lamarcus Aldridge was necessary. Spurs dumped Tiago Splitter for a chance at LMA too. Sometimes you have to take a risk for a star:manny:. Things didn't work out with the Morris Twins but it's not the worst loss. Markieff will be traded before the deadline and Suns will look to upgrade in the offseason.
