Question. I saw something on the nba ig I think showing the 20-0 start but also having 24 straight in the regular season dating back to last season. So does this mean they need 7 more to beat the record or do they still need 14 more to beat the record ?

Yeah, ESPN had a graphic making the rounds that included the regular season wins from last year included. I don't know how the NBA actually counts these streaks, but IMO, it should be a single season record, not something cobbled together from multiple seasons...I think it made us look bad.

The way the Pacers have been playing I think they'll beat the Warriors at home. Plus GS is on like a 7 game road trip. Tough, even for them, to come out unscathed from something like that.

I know the Clips didnt have JJ and Paul but the Pacers D is mind boggling right now
They pack the paint, manage to stay home on shooters, while swarming Blake and still force a grip of turnovers. Vogels game plan, scouting and prep is on another level. I'm still trying to figure out how they do all this. Remember Jordan Hill looked like one of the worst defenders in the league last year
Monta has often taken dumb risks and not played with full intensity on that end. Yet they both did a great job last night
George Hill was very impressive. Mahinmi was terrific on that end. Allen as well.
The coaching staff is just incredible in Indy.

I'm trying to figure it out also. Vogel is a great coach..
The way he gets the players to believe in the system,
and they all like him.
But it still comes down to PG13. He makes this team look good.
And Monta and his leadership helps also.
Can't wait for Myles Turner to come back, he was doing good.

Elite defenders he hasn't faced yet I can think of are

Tony Allen
Paul George
Kawhi Leonard

Probably missing more but I know these 3 would guard him on and off at least or be a primary

Probably still get his points but won't be as efficient is my thinking
Caldwell Pope locked him up when they played the Pistons

Wrong. KCP still being slept on as an elite defender I see. It's ok. Y'all still got time catch up.
:myman:yep

But Stan is running the young fella into the ground tho:damn: 40 plus minutes a night guarding the opposing team best player.

He had just played 20 minutes in the first last half night and had to sit out halftime warmups. Both knees were wrapped up:mjcry:

He still returned for the 3rd and contained Knight though.

It's been effecting KCP's offense some imo, Stan needs to add to the bench or give Stanley more minutes

Does Andrew Bogut have an actual purpose for the warriors? He only plays like 20 MPG and is 6/6.

Just for defense? or what?
