Coming out of hs he was known as a deadly shooter but Cal didn't let him show that off in college

He's a better version of Al Horford imo
I was familiar with his game long before Kentucky and it was good to see Cal have him really working out of the post, but this comment was more about the class overall. I think there are gonna be some impressive rooks to come from this group.

Could go down as a top 5 class of all time. There are like 6 possible greats and probably 20-25 above average possibilities. I think this class will contend with the GOATS.

was Jalen Rose really wrong about Cleveland being the 5th or 6th best team in the NBA?

Warriors
Houston
(maybe) Spurs
I think those teams are above them at the moment. I'm curious to see how fast the Spurs start the season but I think the Cavs are about even with OKC and the Clippers.

You never know. With what I see from Towns, he might be the best rookie big since Duncan. Could even have a better rookie year than Duncan had. As I said inthe other thread, Towns looks like am all time great possibility to me
Stop.

Davis was just drafted in 2012.

He has no chance of having a better rookie year than Duncan.

Duncan averaged 21/12 with 2.5 blocks per game and was All-NBA 1st team his rookie year. And the Spurs won 56 games on top of that. You really think Towns could have a better rookie year than he did? :usure:

If you want to talk about rookie bigs since then: Elton Brand also put up 20/10, Pau averaged 18/9 with over 2 blocks a game, Griffin averaged 23/12. Anthony Davis was also very good as a rookie, he averaged 14/8 and nearly 2 blocks a game while playing less than 30 minutes. Per 36 he was averaging 17/10 with 2.2 blocks a game.
