Has Mudiay really been any better than Deangelo? Finishing has been terrible, unable to take advantage of wide open jumpers defenses are ceeding him, turnovers dull his playmaking. Upside is great but he hasn't really shown me anything that suggests he'll clearly be a better player in the future.

statistically he hasn't been better. In fact I think if you replace Mudiay with Russell you would have the same results. However Mudiay has won games for his team, which Russell hasn't been able to do, and has more room to grow with the ball in his hands and by the end of the season he'll be contributing more to his team and playing better than him since they have to rely on him so much.

Man if/when Zach LaVine develops the basketball IQ stage of his game :patrice: maybe it's just him looking weird playing point and he's still very very young but there are some flaws he can stand to fix short-term.

His speed and athleticism is fukking crazy but he'd still rather take an elbow jumper over probe in the lane. Especially since he's not even a very good mid-range shooter to begin with. That shot selection and knowing when to pass will be big

Some guys never "get it" even after years and years. I think he's ultimately be a combo guard 6th man. When I see him, I see Shannon Brown, fast and explosive, but ultimately doesn't specialize enough in anything for him to be a starter quality player. All of this can change for him though if he puts in the work, if he can be a better shooter they have him replace KMart later down the road

Lavine is damn near retarded on the court

:manny:
He won't ever learn especially if t wolves keep trying to make him into a PG

Only way he makes the leap to a decent player is if he learns how to play off ball
