Unlike Meyers Leonard though, he plays like a man on the offensive end. I can excuse jumpshooting and three point shots from bigs if you can atleast rebound like one, he doesn't and he doesn't even block shots ontop of it. He's 7 feet tall just to shoot and nothing else.

Leonard's strictly a backup "big" but Portland doesn't have any bodies.

Me and @Malta aren't talking about his ability to hit 3's. The point is, he's in no position to be labeled / play at the 4/5. Meyers at the 3 makes more sense....

While his ability to hit 3's is quite good his effort on defense / rebounding is garbage most of the time...

He's basically just a 7 foot shooter who can hit open shots...

You have no idea how much this past offseason is already haunting me. Even beyond the draft, there were a bunch of quality rotation players in free agency they could have gone after to flesh out the roster and grow with the young guys.

If it wasn't for the mess in Sacramento, it would probably be the worst offseason I've ever seen.

I feel like the Mavericks are gonna be better than ppl expect, like a 6th seed team or maybe a 5 since a lot of teams are underachieving.

I still think they will be a 7 or 8 seed in the west. They still will be shark food come playoff time and go down in the first round. Cuban just trying to have the team stay afloat until Dirk retires.
