In this particular case he was right about Curry and Harden, Bron (and anyone else that happens to go off causing their team to win a game). :manny:. I didn't see a problem with the post, he wasnt saying Bazemore was equal to those cats skill wise, but that he just happend to deliver/was the reason his team won on that particular night imo. We disagree on things but I don't think you're a terrible poster (heavy Curry Stan tho) You are wrong about Steph and those other 2a pgs being better than Zeke tho.

but the rest made sense
:ehh:

Well he was also correct that simply trying to write off a result because of the unlikely performance of a role player doesn't really pan out. I mean stranger things have happened in that realm...several of them last post-season. :mjpls:

Here's the thing, it didn't make any sense.

Firstly I commentated on the fact the Wizards have regressed/didn't play well, then @Sly Cookin asked how did the other team play (in a manner as if there was some great difference in how both teams played). I then replied they didn't look much better (meaning the team as a unit didn't look much better), and that the main difference was Bazemore going off. Now if yall watched the game you would've seen that the Hawks didn't really play much better than the Wizards, as a unit - which is what I stated. Korver, Horford, Teague and Schroder had poor/average games, which was why the Hawks lacked cohesiveness and failed to execute all throughout the game, until the 4th quarter - as the Wizards were actually leading 78-75 at the end of the 3rd quarter. So obviously there wasn't THAT much difference between how the two teams played, over the game as a whole.

The game was still tight with four minutes to go (three point lead for ATL), that's when Bazemore rattled off six points in less than 30 seconds - he had 25 points all up, turning a three-point lead into a nine-point lead and the Hawks rode that momentum swing for the remaining three minutes.

That was the difference, where one role player got hot in a tight affair near the end of a game. The same could've happened for the Wizards, yet that too wouldn't change how both teams performed as a unit across the entire game. @Sly Cookin was making it seem that there was some great difference between how both teams played - there really wasn't.

I'm sure @FAH1223 and @JACK! would be able to say the same.

Don't forget

Wall and Beal are averaging 9 turnovers a game

The Wiz had what? 26 turnovers?

Leading the NBA in turnovers. No PF worth a damn on the roster. Defensive mishaps, playing fast and uptempo.

It'll be interesting to see how long Wittless goes with this. He may start Nene in games again to set the tone defensively.

Would I be right in saying that there wasn't that much difference in how both teams played, overall?
