Here's the thing, it didn't make any sense.
Firstly I commentated on the fact the Wizards have regressed/didn't play well, then
@Sly Cookin asked how did the other team play (in a manner as if there was some great difference in how both teams played). I then replied they didn't look much better (meaning the team as a unit didn't look much better), and that the main difference was Bazemore going off. Now if yall watched the game you would've seen that the Hawks didn't really play much better than the Wizards, as a unit - which is what I stated. Korver, Horford, Teague and Schroder had poor/average games, which was why the Hawks lacked cohesiveness and failed to execute all throughout the game, until the 4th quarter - as the Wizards were actually leading 78-75 at the end of the 3rd quarter. So obviously there wasn't THAT much difference between how the two teams played.
The game was still tight with four minutes to go (three point lead for ATL), that's when Bazemore rattled off six points in less than 30 seconds - he had 25 points all up, turning a three-point lead into a nine-point lead and the Hawks rode that momentum swing for the remaining three minutes.
That was the difference, where one role player got hot in a tight affair near the end of a game. The same could've happened for the Wizards, yet that too wouldn't change how both teams performed as a unit across the entire game.
@Sly Cookin was making it seem that there was some great difference between how both teams played - there really wasn't.
I'm sure
@FAH1223 and
@JACK! would be able to say the same.
