The Grizz could get away with two big men if their wing players weren't so bad offensively, they are the team that should have been taking chances on guys like Lamb, Marcus Morris, Isiah Thomas, Evan Fournier etc. They need more dynamic wing players more than anything else, their perimeter offense is just soand Conley is really the only dude that can create consistently and he's not really elite at it. If you can't get an elite creator you go with a bunch of decent to good ones instead, that way you can at least weather the storm of one of your guys having an off night because another might step up.
Yep that is the crust of it. Folks say their game doesn't work now and would work back in the 90s or early 2000s but hell I don't think they would have gone to the finals even then. They have no dominant scorer and no wing player that can create.
Unless those kats could go back in time and get Pat Riley as a coach they still wouldn't go to the finals.
