nikka stop...bennett was trash and always had been. Everyone was shocked he went #1. He was on nobody board to even go top 5.

nikka porzingas was over seas...mudiay was overseas....rio was overseas...myles turner was in texas...

stop making excuses for d'angela. He was terrible against any decent team. Game plan for him? so putting your starting point guard on him is game planning? nikka stop. He got strapped up when he faced anyone worth facing.

Anthony bennett was a shock when drafted but when he was in summer league with wiggins he showed the potential to give a team quality minutes but he cant. My whole point of even mentioninghim was that summer league holds no value.

And of course im talking about the people in the lottery who went 2 college, i thought that was common sense that's why i only mentioned cam payne, forgot about miles turner tho. And yes good coachesuse defensive strategies to affect players and it don't always come thru double teams. I have no problem with the russell criticism, my problem is that hes the only one being criticized this hard. Like everyone else gets the wait it out hes a rookie treatment except russell, especially when it was known from pre draft he wasnt as nba ready as a okafor, Mudiay, or Stanley johnson

Isnt Conley a FA after the season ? I dont think Zach gets as much as you think and Gasol just signed on for 5 years at 1100 mil..you think teams are gonna lineup to acquire him if hes showing signs of decline in the first year of that deal ?

I never said bennett was good. My whole point was to discredit summer league.

And i dont feel like mudiay has been that much better than russell so far. He had a good game 1 but have struggled with shooting and turnovers. Russell is playing more efficiently than mudiay and his usage rate is a lot lower.

The Grizz could get away with two big men if their wing players weren't so bad offensively, they are the team that should have been taking chances on guys like Lamb, Marcus Morris, Isiah Thomas, Evan Fournier etc. They need more dynamic wing players more than anything else, their perimeter offense is just so and Conley is really the only dude that can create consistently and he's not really elite at it. If you can't get an elite creator you go with a bunch of decent to good ones instead, that way you can at least weather the storm of one of your guys having an off night because another might step up.

conley reminds me of a slower jeff teague for some reason....................memphis prob as everyone said is they rely on a very archaic two big man high lo post with NO 3 point shooting for spacing............Defensive schemes are a lot better at defending this...............they should blow it up but they face the prob of not being able to attract talent in free agency
