People really thought he was an NBA great in the making. Dude is going to have a long career being a solid player, not an mega star

It's same shyt I've been saying since last season. I just don't see him and Rubio as a good fit together. Wiggins is the type of player you have to almost force to be aggressive and run the offense through. Having a ball dominant point guard alongside him and his most passive side comes out. While Rubio has been balling this season and gives the team a better chance to win I feel it comes to the detriment of the development of Wiggins.

checking back all highlights, currry was making shots but green was just beasting dude almost had a triple double in 25 minutes
It's crazy to say but I like the Ezeli/Green combo better than the Bogut/Green combo. Especially with how little Bogut was giving them on offense late in the year last year. Ezeli makes them even more athletic, provides more of a shot blocking prescence and an athletic finisher on offense. I really wonder if we're going to see a repeat of the David Lee/Draymond situation from last year.

the grizzlies didn't get the shooters they needed to create spacing sooner and now their window is closed. gasol and conley are the only pieces they need to keep. everyone else should be traded for picks.
Nothing on their roster will give them much return outside of Conley/Gasol though

Who is going to trade 1st round picks for anyone else on that roster?

It was only a matter of time honestly. I like bogut's toughness and presence, but ezeli brings athleticism, speed and more energy on defense. plus he's better at chasing down rebounds and putting himself in position to grab them. the warriors defense about to go to another level :banderas:

Grizz should tear down and do a total rebuild. They could probably get a king's ransom from the Celtics for Gasol and the Jazz would probably give up a lot for Conley.

They could bottom out this year and have a ton of picks for the future.

I didn't think Ezeli could replace bogut mainly because bogut serves as their hub on offense. He kind of starts the offensive set and is a good escape valve for Steph, but they basically just made draymond the offensive hub when Ezeli is in and it works beautifully :banderas:

If Ainge was willing to trade four 1st rounders for Justise Winslow, then imagine what he would do for a center who just made All-NBA 1st team

But if they do make moves I doubt they'll trade Gasol or Conley. Probably just try to move TA, Randolph and Green

ezeli's lack of an offensive game was my only concern, but draymond developing faster and better than I ever expected makes up for that.
draymond plays a huge part in making this offense click and still plays good defense :whew:

they can get a lot of value back for gasol but I don't know if I would do that:patrice: gasol is an elite center who plays both ends of the floor and is an easy player to build around.

the grizzlies tried to compete by trading for green but that was a bust and it went downhill after that. they're in a tough spot right now and will have to do something drastic after this season or be another treadmill team:flabbynsick:

He's already 30 years old though. They need a complete roster overhaul.

Wait why wouldn't they just stay a playoff team instead of bottoming out :dwillhuh:

I think everybody is overreacting to the idea of being a treadmill team.
