Two playoff teams are getting lottery picks
Celtics (From the Nets)
Raptors (From Knicks)
It's a lesson in never trading first rounders, no matter how far in the future.

Celtics kind of have to flip their picks for a star player though...
They have reached the point now where they got a good enough collection of good to role players and the only thing getting them to the next level is a star...specifically a big man...
I just don't see how they have any other option but to try and get Kevin Love or Blake Griffin or Okafor if Philly is ready to "rebuild"
Signing Howard or Handsome Al is something else they could do but seems really unlikely...
It depends, if it's not Simmons I can see them moving the pick but they still have next year and the year after. I think Simmons fits in with their team the most and I don't think they'd flip him unless they're getting confirmation Durant is coming and wants another star to play with. That team is young enough that it can wait a year or two for Simmons to start carrying them, they are the 5th youngest team in the league, there's no rush.
Possible that Celtics TRY and trade up in this draft?
I think either Okafor or Noel will be traded this offseason. Probably Okafor IMO, I think he'll be traded to Boston for Marcus Smart and the Nets pick if they don't land Simmons or Ingram.. We were close to doing it at the deadline, only seems inevitable at this point.Nah, I think they go -
Simmons
Ingram
Bender
Poeltl
They're going to get a top 5 pick, and there are 4 guys they'd take and keep. They wont need to trade up as long as one of those 4 guys is still there, they'd probably want Simmons the most, but with how much Ainge loved Durant I wouldn't be shocked if they took Ingram 1 if they have the pick too.
Hield's a dark horse, though I think his safety net is 6 (most likely 5 assuming the order remains the same)Nah, I think they go -

almost beat the Warriors...This Grizzlies roster that's gonna be on the floor in the playoffs gotta be one of the wackest I've seen in my lifetime
It's funny how these games feeling meaningless
How would Ingram? I think they shop it, but that's a luxury pick if they keep it.I think they like Poeltl as well, we'll see though
How would he fit in with them? They already have so many guards.
I hear you, the reason I said Okafor will be moved is because of the Bryan Colangelo & Mike D'Antoni connection that is happening again in Philly. I already see what it's about to be here. Okafor doesn't fit that 7 seconds or less offensive scheme nor is D'Antoni a fan of post ups. Noel fits that scheme more. How would Ingram? I think they shop it, but that's a luxury pick if they keep it.
3 first rounders, 5 2nd rounders (2 of them being in the first 5 of round 2)
I think they cash in and try to land a star (unlike @AAKing23 I don't see them going the route of Okafor because Philly has a war chest of picks already (Noel is a different story-- and he's a Boston local)
