did you see the game they lost? late in the game, in attempt to comeback, they were running 1-4 low isolation for andrew harrison. that's just poor coaching. he never maximizes the talent of his big men and this has always been the coach. He's a great coach, but an average at best coach.

Markieff in the month of March:

26 MPG, 12.7 PPG on 50% shooting, 1.2 threes on 38.3% shooting, and 5.6 boards

While on the Suns this season he scored 11.6 PPG, 40% shooting, 29% shooting from three, and 5.2 boards in 25 MPG.

This guy flat out quit so hard on them. :russ:

My point isn't that they underacheived in going like 30-whatever and 1, it's that Cal managed to limit two legit NBA all star level players (one who is already a top big on both ends) while indulging two NBDL flunkies. That team shouldn't lose a single tournament game unless the other team plays a near perfect game. It's difficult to think of many teams with as much talent, or teams with that much talent where the coach consistently placed the ball in the hands of the worst player out of the starting 5. shyt, Roy fukking Williams wouldve waltzed to a title with that squad. Which aint a compliment to Roy.

You call it limiting, and I can call it teaching them how to play within a team structure, which pays immediate dividends in the NBA. I actually respect that aspect of Cal's college experience. Hes going to make you play as a team, not as an individual, and hes going to make you play defense (which may have been the reason Booker didnt see the floor as much?). It seems unfair to criticize him for 'limiting' those players, when in turn Im willing to bet they would credit Cal with preparing them for the NBA (which he seems to be genuine about)

and again, to be fair, they WERE waltzing to a title, they just got caught on the chin in the madness (it happens)

There's no reason either Harrison twin should've been handling the ball more than Booker. As a rookie he's one of the best PnR guards in the league. Cal almost NEVER let Booker handle the ball.

I don't know when the Cavs season gone be done, but the FIRST thing they gotta do is get Mozgov off this team. Dude is such a black hole on offense, it forces them to have to go small to get any kind of significant contribution from that position. He also doesn't do shyt on defense anymore

They are.

Which begs the question: Why did LeBron leave the Heat to join the injury-prone fraud on the Cavs and force the Cavs to trade Wiggins for another fraud?
