Sources: Mavs' Parsons facing knee surgery

But Parsons, 27, has been playing the best basketball of his career since fully recovering from the hybrid microfracture surgery. He has averaged 18.9 points, 5.9 rebounds and 3.2 assists per game in the past two months, shooting 51.9 percent from the floor and 47.7 percent from 3-point range during that span, prompting coach Rick Carlisle to refer to him as a "franchise-caliber player in the making."

:mjcry:

Sources said Parsons is still likely to exercise his right this summer to opt out of the final season of his three-year, $46 million deal. He is expected to receive maximum-contract offers in free agency, with sources considering the Mavs the front-runners to keep him.

:dwillhuh:

A max deal coming off two knee surgeries????

That NBA money so real.
:wow:

The end of game possessions are on Sam but also the personnel. It's hard having Rubio and Dieng out there and not ISO Wiggins because on Pick and Rolls they can make one of those two guys take a shot. I'd still rather see that then them standing still and making Towns an offensive rebounder late in games. They got great looks throughout the game with movement and good passing and that kind of stops in the last 5 minutes of the game when it tightens up. The last Wiggins shot was real bad and if I remember right, I think Draymond Green was guarding him which makes the shot that much more difficult.

Lavine gets caught up in the moment too much which is explainable for his age and lack of experience and consistent playing time until the last month or two. But he's really gotta learn when to slow down and not try and get the crowd going with a flashy pass that doesn't need to be made or shooting long 2's and long 3's just because he feels like he's in a rhythm. Those shots fall and he isn't as aggressive trying to get to the rim unless it's a fast break.

I think the next coach, and pray to god it's next year, will know KAT is the franchise player and best offensive player on the team and he needs the ball to close games out.

Wes Matthews got $70 mil from the Mavs after tearing his achilles, so Cuban will probably still give Parsons a big deal

When the season's over I can finally get one done for the whole first round. I was gonna do one right after the tourney, but this is a tourney where nobody's really boosting their stock off these games, so end of season, I'll do one.

The tourney always helps SOMEONE. Whether Ingram gets serious top pick consideration or Grayson or Brice Johnson become lottery locks or maybe Perry Ellis gets into the first round somehow.
Someone will get a boost. I do agree with you on the whole tho. This isn't a great tourney for draft scouting. That Washington SD State NIT game had more NBA talent than 90% of the tournament.

I'll do a top 15 big board after the tourney and than prob a full top 30 after the lottery

If it's helped anyone it's Hield solidify anywhere from 3-7. Still unsure about how Brice will fare physically in the NBA but his stock is only boosted by the fact that not many potential picks are left

Draymond Green and Bogut come up with some of the most blatant illegal screens and it's not even called :snoop:

Them mothafukkas went to the Kevin Garnett, Tyson Chandler and Dirk Nowitski school of moving, grabbing, holding and pushing screens. All while the ref refuses to call an offensive foul.
