DeMarcus "Third Splash Brother" Cousins

Thought I would hate him taking 3's this year but he's shooting above league average

I think it's BS that clippers are better without Blake.
I think they are legit contender when he is back. Obviously I don't see anyone beating the warriors but imo the clips are right up there with the Thunder, Spurs and Cavs. Once again, this is with Blake. Obviously Point Guard, PF and Center would be set and JJ is having a career season. There has been a lot of questions about the 5th guy but I think there is a very obvious answer to that question. I would continue to start one of Pierce, Luc or Wes but 6 min into the 1st bring in Crawford. That way he can still play a bit with the bench unit and they can even play Blake in the 2nd quarter with the bench guys.

I hear some doubts about playing JJ and Crawford together however when looking at the clippers best 3 man line ups 4 of the best 5 line ups include JJ and Jamal together and the best trio is Blake, JJ and Jamal. Albeit they've only played 101 minutes but Doc has been finishing games with Crawford in the line up and hopefully he continues to do so.

Here are the numbers:
TRIO. MINUTES. NET RATE
Crawford-Redikk-Griffin 101 19.0
Crawford-Paul-Redikk 360 18.5
Crawford-Jordan-Redikk 331 16.0
Crawford-Jordan-Mbah a Moute 107 15.8
Crawford-Johnson-Redikk 128 15.5

clippers play way better without blake. i watch every clipper game this year and its night and day. not saying blake isn't a great player, blake needs the ball, cp3 pounds the ball.....just a bad fit

What the hell was Cousins doing on that defensive possession? They were playing 5 on 4 (with CP down the other end of the court), Cousins was standing in the middle of nowhere and lets the Clippers get an open layup.

Their defense has improved because Blake and Co weren't tryin their best on that end in the start of the year and luc is a very good defender and Wesley Johnson has been terrific defensively lately. DJ refuses to leave the paint on D but his rim protection cant be denied. However this team was the best offensive team in the NBA last year with BLAKE, they are not nearly as good on that end without him

I looooove the Raptors bench. I think their success on the playoffs depends on if they continue to give Patterson, Biyombo Ross and Joseph big minutes and stay away from Scola. DeRozan will be necessary in the playoffs because of his ability to create his own shot but his defense is so bad at times that i would play Joseph/Ross over him a lot of times
