I wonder if the Heat brass will continue and be stubborn about the way this roster fits.

LeBatard is saying the Heat want to evaluate Whiteside for the entire year and make a decision when free agency starts.

I'd give serious consideration to moving Bosh to the 5 spot permanently and seeing what I can get for a Whiteside + Winslow + filler starting package.

Miami would NEVER trade Winslow.

If the philosophy is still win now than they probably won't have a choice if they want a game changing piece.

Whiteside by himself isn't going to do it because he doesn't have bird rights and his salary is mad low to trade for anything straight up.

Or continue to hold on to the KD pipe dream.
