Man if the Magic could get Tobias Harris for an expiring J.J. Redikk I know damn well the Celtics can do better than journeymen backups and late 1st rounders for Rondo.
I never you said couldn't find a gem as a late 1st rounder, but it's not likely and it doesn't mean I'm down for trading Rondo for oneI could easily make a list of "gems" that were drafted in the 2nd round in recent years too. Means nothing.
Why would the Magic do that? They are high on Elfrid Payton and will groom him to be their PG without having to give up Harris. The Bucks were under different ownership when they made that trade, they were in "make playoff mode".
You could make a list for second rounders, but specifically picks 21-23 have a shytload of high quality players, it's actually kind of surprising how many hits there were in that range.
