Seriously why can't yall just tank in peace. The west is already competitive as fukk...
Nah I any to see then make it as 7-8 seed to see the higher seeds playing musical chair to try to avoid that matchup.

Try telling Russy & KD your going to just punt the season away. There wasn't ever going to be a tank unless both had injuries that would have kept them out until Feb. or something.

They're just not that good but part of the reason has also got to be the fact that they've had the busiest schedule along with 3 or 4 other teams. They've played 18 games so far compared to the Celtics' 13 for example. That's a 5 game difference in about 32 days. That's a considerable disadvantage so far. Their schedule should get lighter compared to other teams soon.
That's also the reason I'm not buying the Warriors as favorites yet. Of all the top contenders they've had the most time off so far. Let's see how they perform as their schedule gets tougher and their legs weaker.
Never thought about the scheduling. That could make a difference but I still thought they'd be around the 6th-8th seed right now.

After taking a look at the #'s, I was surprised at how well Andy shot from midrange last season as well:leon:

Varajeo is getting the majority of these opportunities after setting high screens because teams have been trapping Kyrie/Bron and daring him to shoot.

They need to get Love more involved as the pick man instead of having him being an overpaid Channing Frye.
Theoretically having Love where he is should open the middle of the court a lot more on those pick and rolls. Zach Lowe had a great article on the affect just having Channing Frye on the court was last year for the Suns even just standing in a corner. I think Varajeo is far from the problem. The problem is there was just too much ball sticking. Instead of swinging the ball and bending the defense and then attacking the weakness Lebron and Kyrie were trying to do it more off of straight isolation. The last few games it seems the ball was sticking a whole lot less and they seemed to penetrate off of openings created off of running more offense.

Yeah, they've been pretty disappointing. I believe Lance can and will grow though. Same goes for the team as a whole.
