1st Round Playoff Exits
Freeland being a big man is the only reason why they would bring him back. That's just a hunch on my part. I'm with you on CJ. I hate to see talent waste away due to injuries but you gotta call it like you see it.

Crabbe and Barton are formalities at this point. You don't give up on young, cheap guys that have shown flashes.
You think they bring Barton back or find someone else :patrice:

I like the kid.....But crabbe obviously jumped the lineup, they'll definitely throw him some mid level contract as he develops

The Cavs and LeBron in particular inexplicably run a lot of action for Varejao to take jumpers.

@jaguar paw yall would be better off with Tristan starting
Varejao is shooting over 50% on midrange J's this season, so I wouldn't use him as a scapegoat

Now who else wanna fukk with Hollywood Court?

He could shoot 75%, I wouldn't want him taking that shot as often as he is :yeshrug:

That shot will not be something you can count on in the playoffs, it's better to get Love established in the offense.

That's the thing, he's been making these jumpers at a very good clip so at face value it makes plenty of sense but he operates best in a lot of the areas that Love favours. People forget that Bosh had a lot more freedom to alter his game as he was the only significant big in Miami whereas Love has to find his game somewhere between Bron and Varejao (Thompson is a lot more flexible in this regard).
Can't ignore that only two of their 10 best lineups actually feature Varejao and while its small samples and they've leaned heavily on their starting 5 as a unit, you have to think Blatt could do a lot better as far as rotations go to turn the glut of talent into upside but I'm starting to feel his learning curve might be steeper than the teams'.

After taking a look at the #'s, I was surprised at how well Andy shot from midrange last season as well:leon:

Varajeo is getting the majority of these opportunities after setting high screens because teams have been trapping Kyrie/Bron and daring him to shoot.

They need to get Love more involved as the pick man instead of having him being an overpaid Channing Frye.

I'm surprised the Hornets are this bad.

They're just not that good but part of the reason has also got to be the fact that they've had the busiest schedule along with 3 or 4 other teams. They've played 18 games so far compared to the Celtics' 13 for example. That's a 5 game difference in about 32 days. That's a considerable disadvantage so far. Their schedule should get lighter compared to other teams soon.
That's also the reason I'm not buying the Warriors as favorites yet. Of all the top contenders they've had the most time off so far. Let's see how they perform as their schedule gets tougher and their legs weaker.

In an ideal world they would both come off the bench to back up Love and a legit defensive center.

Kyrie and LeBron are just too comfortable with Andy and they don't trust Love enough just yet.

Andy is leading the east in field goal percentage.

:wow:
