Exactly

In other words, I like Wes, but he's replaceable, or I can see him wanting to get paid more money which he should rightfully so. But with prospects like Allen Crabbe and CJ, I can seem them lowballing him and letting him walk.

Maybe Batum, is just one of a kind. Can't really say much more than then that.

But they'll definitely find a way to keep Lopez, you see how hard it is to find a decent center, not mention he's stays healthy on top of everything. But smh, at them still trying to develop Meyers :why:

Blazers definitely got to shed some dead weight between: Meyers, Barton, Clever, Wright, and T-Rob. I actually like all these cats, but they can't play on this squad :yeshrug:

Yep. I assume that Claver and Wright are gone. Freeland is probably gone. I don't think they're going to extend a QO to him. T-Rob was gone when they didn't pick up the option. Leonard gets the same big man argument, but he hasn't shown anything. The problem is that they're going to go through the same issues once they let these guys go. Thin, and now a much older, bench.

Looking at the depth chart at SF is :mjcry:. Nic is too valuable to the squad. Cats don't understand how much he does for this team. Lillard and LA are great offensive players (LA is good on the defensive end too), but he makes up for a lot of the team's deficiencies.

Regarding Wes, NO and CHA would kill to have him on their team right now. ATL, IND, and desperate ass DET could all make a run at him next year.

I'll post my opinion after them.....
LOL. Wes is cool, but he doesn't a lot of things as well as Batum. He's probably our best facilitator, defender, and can board very well. Do I wish he was more aggressive on the offensive end? Yes, but he also knows his limitations on that end too. It's never fun when players are trying to debut new shyt during a basketball game that they haven't worked on. Great utility guy that is well worth the money that they pay him. I've gotten over the upside argument. He'll never put eye-popping numbers.

Wes is great. I appreciate him. Consistent 16/4/3 a night. Gives great effort on the defensive end. Excellent catch and shoot guy. Not the ballhandler that Nic is. Not the type of a ballhandler that a top SG should be. I think he's at his ceiling. You make him do more and I think your team is in trouble. He's also played up to his deal. We'll see what happens after this season. Olshey is going to need to do some future cap projections because Wes, LA, and Lopez are up. LA is getting the max and I think we can keep Lopez and Matthews if they don't overestimate their value.

I like our starting 5, but Wes would be the one I give up first. CJ or Crabbe can be developed to do what he does.

They should have gave up on Meyers last year. I thought T-Rob would have been the backup to LA this year but they are using Freeland instead.

You think Freeland is gone? I feel like he has a role, seeing as big men are hard to find....

But umm back to SF, I think they'll resign crabbe off of the strength of him already being a good backup, I mean, technically this is like his rookie season, and as much as I like cj if he has one more injury, I'm calling him :deadrose: status

Freeland being a big man is the only reason why they would bring him back. That's just a hunch on my part. I'm with you on CJ. I hate to see talent waste away due to injuries but you gotta call it like you see it.

Crabbe and Barton are formalities at this point. You don't give up on young, cheap guys that have shown flashes.
