That's just so delusional I don't have words. The biggest problem with Waiters is he thinks he's more talented than what he is. All he needs to do is spot up but he thinks he should be running pick and rolls.

He doesn't realize he could have a long career as a 6th man, that's really where he's going to shine to be honest but he can't see it yet.

Kwahi not worth the max. i kno hes hurt and all but he doesnt seem assertive enough to be a real superstar in this league. the Spurs not gon give him the max unless he shows he can be a franchise player This is a team that has went thru Robinson,Duncan and Parker as franchise players. not saying he cant get the max somewhere else but hes maximizing his talent in San Antonio.

i dont know if eye infection counts as an injury, but yeah he kinda looking off a little. he's not getting that deal unless things turn for him quick.

I actually feel playing within the restraints of popovich's system might be holding him back from truly going off. You can tell even today when it was just him and Tony that he was making all the "right" passes and rarely looking for his shot. It was almost robotic to watch. He also needs to work on his handles.

He was taking half of his shots from there in preseason. I was like but they kept going in.

that's always been his gimmick brehs, that's one of the reasons why he was drafted, the real problem is that he has butter hands, can't catch or handle the ball well enough, to actually take a shot. He's a classical case of a talented big, who can't keep up with the pace of the NBA. Think Sacre on the Lakers, lowkey I've seen vids of practice and duke works hard, and rarely misses a shot or freethrow during practice, but that rigor of the nba pace is something else, its especially harder on bigs since their neuromuscular coordination takes longer to develop.
