I'm really starting to think Russell Westbrook should be the favorite for MVP. He's carried this team this year with everything against him. The team around Durant and Westbrook is garbage. We haven't seen both Durant and Westbrook with the talent they brought in during the trade line but they were horrible before the all star break. I think the really suffered from letting go of Thabo. They should have atleast replaced him bc they had a good thing going with Him guarding the perimeter and Ibaka on the weakside. That was the perfect team to have around Westbrook amd Durant. Both of them are going to bring 30 a game and the role players are playing good defense than you see why they were so successful. Now with that gone I don't think they would have been that much better even if Durant and Westbrook were healthy. It's gone be interesting to see how they play at full strength with the new players they brought in.

Wizards almost losing to the Heats back-ups after being up 30+ is another L for this team. Dudes thought they had so much promise before the beginning of the season. You look at the combined age of the other members of the core (Good lord) and these type of performances aren't a surprise. The big surprise is Beal's lack of improvement and inability to stay on the court.
