All these people in here talking about Brooks and his lineup and what he did and blah blah blah...

Not one mention of Sabo taking every fukking shot for his team in the last 4 minutes and only making one of them which directly led to Portland coming back to win the game :francis:

I take that every shot statement back...I think somehow Roberson was able to squeeze off a bricked 3...

I expect this type of bias from ESPN...I expect the truth from the coli...:francis:

The Celtics actually got better after they traded Rondo.
Crowder is better

And they got better after the green trade

You're both right. We had a better record after the Rondo trade compared to before and we had a better record after the Green trade compared to before.

With that being said, Crowder isn't a better player than Green per-say but the advantage he has over him is that Crowder consistently plays with high energy. Whereas with Green when he was here you never knew what you were gonna get, there were some games where he was aggressive on offense and dominated and then there was countless other games where he looked like he didn't even want to be there. He was a bit unpredictable and not in a good way

Shortly after hiring George Karl, the Kings traded for Andre Miller, Karl’s point guard the Nuggets.

That might not be the last roster move Karl inspires in Sacramento.

Pete D’Alessandro, who worked with Karl in Denver, is still the Kings’ general manager. But Karl might have usurped some control and could use it to acquire Ty Lawson – or even trade DeMarcus Cousins.

Sources say Karl would love to acquire Ty Lawson—if the rebuilding Nuggets were to make him available—or any other members of his last Nuggets team, which won 57 games in 2012-13. Karl wants players who move the ball and push the tempo, and that could mean wild upheaval on the Kings roster. Even DeMarcus Cousins, their franchise center, is not untouchable, according to a source with insight into Karl’s thinking. “At the trade deadline, everyone was available,” the person said. Including Cousins? “Every single person (on the Kings roster) was available.” Although Karl does not hold a front office title, “he definitely has control” of future personnel decisions, the source said.

So George Karl is gonna help Vivek trade Cousins for a bunch of Denver Nuggets and picks at the draft.

Wrote this for the Raptors thread, I'll leave it here too cuz it's mostly about the Warriors. That's a special team.

Like @Emperor_ReinScarf I've been a Raptor fan from day 1. I moved to Toronto in the summer of '95. Just the idea of going to an NBA game in person had me excited for the move. My first Raptor game in person was in the first season against Orlando. We lost 126-86. Penny Hardaway only scored 8 points but had an alley-oop I'll always remember. Last night was deja vu.

During the Vince years when the arena is almost empty an hour plus before the game I watched Stephen Curry and Seth shooting around. Making NBA 3's at 10 years old. When an usher told me those are Dell's kids it made sense. It'll always be special when Curry plays at the ACC as a pro.

For me last night was to watch Curry and that team do their thing. Seeing Kerr sitting down calmly during the action but then calling timeouts cuz the Raptors scored after a 5-minute drought made me think of Phil and then Pop. Kerr is going to be a great coach. He'd probably have the Knicks in the race for 8th place at least. Klay has gone to a next level. Speights has actually reached his potential, when he looked like he was going to flame out of the league after his run in Philly.

Bogut is incredible in person, and doesn't get the props he deserves. People call him a bust he's really a great player who got hurt. Marcus Camby went through that as well, earlier in his career, and finished a strong career and is getting a check from the Raptors in 2015. 1996 draft class, that's almost a 20-year career. Bogut can be around for a long time if his body holds up.
