And that is exactly what? Please don't tell me you're using what I said for what the Grizzlies need, then applying it to OKC as if one-size-fits-all?
fukk outta here with this. you've been nut hugging GS and OKC because of their perimeter guys. you've been hating on the grizz because "they only have ONE(emphasis on one) who can create their own shot. now suddenly you only applied that to one team. you're better than this:camby:

By the way, Memphis are 9-1 since trading for Green. :usure:
it's not because the defense has been great, or that z-bo has been the PF the last month. no, it can't be that .it's been because jeff green.:beli:

Thunder/TSC
:heh: Thunder talk never fails to amaze me around here. 85% of the problem the team has is the goofy dumbass coach. Why people constantly bring up Serges game, not enough scoring, or trades made years ago is hilarious.

Yes I applied that to one team, because that's ALWAYS been the weakest link on the Grizzlies for the last 2-3 seasons (once Rudy left) - they haven't had a WING that can create his shot. I said they'll keep falling at the same hurdle if they don't get a proper wing. OKC have never had that problem and now the Warriors don't have that problem. And the difference in me talking up the Warriors' chances is because they have a COMPLETE team, they have inside scoring, outside scoring, players that can put it on the floor etc etc and I've always mentioned that OKC's dumb ass coach is holding them back from reaching their potential. Don't act like I've been targeting Memphis as the only team whose shyt stinks.

I've never hated on the Grizz, they've been one of my favorite teams to watch for a minute; I've always looked at dudes sideways who say they're 'boring' to watch.

You're better than to take what I said out of context and act like my 'wings that can create their own shot" statement is the be-all and end-all of a team's chances. That was only meant to be applied to Memphis, because that was their area of weakness.

I don't get why this is so hard to understand?

Who said it was solely Jeff Green? I just pointed their record out to a dude that didn't want him on his team in the first place. :mjpls:

Optimistic But I Got Hands Tho
as a celts fan i woulda blown my brains out and i really like PJ3

Boston really didn't get anything for Jeff.

PJ was looking legit then and I figured he could continue to grow on a young team that lacked real wings. Especially under Stevens.

Rondo would've been reunited with his BFF.

OKC would've won the trade in the long run.

It's funny but no one remembers how good PJ looked when KD was hurt.

he did look good. and i loved him out of HS and baylor..but green and zeller were my two favorite players on the team at the time. trading them both and having to try and survive an olynyk/perk rotation without any hope of them throwing olynyk in the bushes would have been the death of me. zeller is more valuable and perry jones too imo

Perk's contract is expiring tho. And I figured it would kill two birds with one stone.

1.) it would help with tanking.
2.) it would make Rondo happy.

Zeller at best is a 3rd big off the bench.

I also felt that Boston was better off finding a starting 5 in the 2015 draft.

I don't disagree with how Ainge has operated tho. He looks like a genius in regards to how he handled the Rondo trade.

  1. False..especially if you mean 3rd string center
  2. Probably True.
He's 7'0 250 24 years old (i think)..is mobile, has good hands, is fairly tough (not afraid to foul hard and challenge shots), is smart, efficient, productive and durable. Locked up at under 4 mil until after 2016 season. He's worth a whole lot more than just salary filler. I think he has the potential to be the first big off the bench on a very good team if he continues to progress as he has been. Perk wouldve made Rondo happy, perhaps, but they'd both be expiring anyway and Im assuming Rondo would want a winning situation so if they just lost more after the trade it woulda been moot.
