All credit to Thad, though, since rather thank going in the tank post-Asik deadline, the no-deal appears to have had the exact opposite effect on him. In the four games since Dec. 19th, Thaddeus Young has simply been one of the best frontcourt players in basketball, with numbers that are almost beyond belief: 27.5 PPG, 8.8 RPG, 2.5 APG, 2.5 SPG, and all on 55% shooting and 65% from three.
I should of drafted Cousins
He passed No. 30 Gary Payton and No. 31 Larry Bird on the career scoring list last week — in the same game, no less. He'll likely catch Clyde Drexler to become No. 28 sometime in January. It's not beyond realistic realms of possibility that James could be one of the game's top 10 career scorers by the end of the 2015-16 season.
By then, he'll only be 32.

Tony Parker made it clear that he intends to prioritize staying with the San Antonio Spurs through free agency in 2015.
“If I can yeah," Parker said. “The history here, they always take care of the guys. They did it with [Tim Duncan] and Manu [Ginobili], so hopefully they take care of me. At the end of this year they have to guarantee my year after, so, technically, maybe, I’ll be a free agent this summer.”
Parker signed a four-year, $50 million extension in 2010. He is owed $25 million in the last two years of his contract, but the final year is partially guaranteed for $3.5 million if he is waived by June 30, 2014 and fully guaranteed for $12.5 million after that.
“I just don’t want a guarantee, I want an extension, too," Parker said.
When asked whether he would look elsewhere if Gregg Popovich or Tim Duncan and Manu Ginobili leave the game, Parker said, “I want to stay positive, but if it doesn’t work out, then it doesn’t work out. My wish is to stay here and play my whole career here, but if there is no more Pop or Timmy or Manu, I’m not against going somewhere. I’m not against that.”
