Mark Jackson has asked the Golden State Warriors' front office that Jerry West not attend most practice and team activities, according to sources.

West is a high-level adviser for the Warriors.

In hindsight, it's funny how outraged us Celtic fans were at the thought of trading Garnett for Jordan. He's exactly what we need. Didn't think Jordan was worthy (along with a 1st if I remember) of getting Garnett, who can't even play 20 minutes in a playoff game right now, and is most likely retiring after this season.

The Brooklyn trade probably helped us more, and who knows what would have happened with pierce but it's funny to think about...

Still don't think it's out of the question Pierce comes back to the Celtics next season
