yeah, but SSOL was a gimmick that was entirely dependent on Nash's genius to work. what Karl advocated (run, attack the basket, get to the line, shoot 3s) due to those being the most efficient shots in basketball is what the league is trending towards.

Everyone wanted to see Shaw get a HC job as if he was the most persecuted candidate ever, forgetting that Kurt Rambis was in that very same spot Shaw was in before he got a job and flamed out spectacularly. Phil Jackson is known for a lot of shyt, but not his coaching tree.
