Bruh I forreal don't know who jasmine is :mjlol:
All of these girls are just placeholders anyway until you send your sister my way. :youngsabo:

Does she prefer a spring or summer wedding?
She prefer one with any muthafukka but you
What's her name? You know what, don't tell me. Imma call her Jasmine. :noah:

When one of these gym broads makes me forsake #GMB, Imma invite you and Jasmine to the wedding.

@You know damn well is gonna be singing during the first dance.

Very good leg day had to drag myself out the gym :leon:.

I started mixing some other machine work in focusing on my quads and hamstrings . Makes my day longer but I loved it today .

Bad part was in there too long and didn’t get Ab work out in :francis:.

What do you all do for core? Been ignoring it for years due to the “squats work core” myth

Planks, Ab Plate Twists, Leg Raises (with a hold), Situps for now.

I, like you, didn’t do much abs because “compound lifts hit your core as well”. But lately I’ve been going against that train of thought and hitting the core hard.

True but it's also relative. If a person (not talking about the OP) is doing the same 225 1/4 squat every session they aren't stimulating anything ab wise.
But we could argue that if they aren't utilizing their core while squating then they aren't squating right

Eh seeing a ton of studies over the weekend posted on reddit
:hubie:

I squat 3-4 times a week and I can tell my core should be stronger
But that's not what you said. You said "squats work core" myth. How is it a myth when one of the core fundamentals of squating is engaging your core:gucci:

I see what you mean. Stance/Form alone is a big factor in what's being activated also. Bottom-line I don't think most people go heavy (relative to the individual) enough to get that activation where they would see gains without a lot of direct ab work.
