Need to be more consistent after recovering.. next month I'll be running a full body 3 days a week for at least the whole month to set the standard and rebuild my base.
SL 5X5 is The Whey....... gives your body time to get used to the increased demands. Muscles have time to heal, ligaments have time to strengthen, and your soul has time to become one with The Iron..

I feel like I need more volume then that at this time I'll throw myself in the ringer 5x5 definitely a good starting mark that I can consider, I have a week. My issue is consistency.. working 70-95 hours a week isn't helping
I see a huge difference between all those hours vs my unemployed years. No excuses.. I'll be back at it.
Yea it seems underwhelming and at first it is because you will be doing the sets easily but all those sets are put in place for a reason, to build you up, cause by week 4 to week 5 you're gonna appreciate why it is 5x5. I don't like the 1 set of 5 for deadlifts, so I do 5 sets of 5 like the rest of the program for that exsrcise (Don't tell LordPowda, he may strike me down
) Add in some hamstring, abductor, adductor and calves and you good.
3 days a week, 1.5 hrs. Hopefully that could fit in to the 70 - 95 hrs a week. At least you gret in solid workouts, get to be consistent, and eventually they will be challenging.
Why you work so many hrs though? that's crazy.![]()
Family , Car Payment, Food , Investments etc. Wifey still paying her portion though
Also trying to get ahead of things. I'm somehow still getting 6-8 hours of sleep. Go to bed early brehs.
You doing a FIRE savings type of plan?

A 5x5 for deadlifts isn't feasible at respectable weight, especially for any decent length of time.
Program creator and thousands of program users can attest, but some folks are hardheaded and need to learn through pain.
Young dude at work tried to argue about some powerlifting shyt and I ended up eating the L just to shut shyt up.
fukk I look like tryna cop advice about being strong from someone who's weaker than I am?
fukk I need to force my knowledge or experience on someone who won't take it?
Let folks cook and see what they end up in the kitchen with.
Then I gotta get myself to a respectable weight then don't I?...
This is why I am merely a brehpprentice.....my deviations off the path must be lessoned learned.![]()
