Another good soccer game today. This team was far more technically sound so we let the ball do most of the work aka not as much running/chasing the opponents.
My cardio is definitely improved from the daily biking. I think I’m averaging about 40-45 miles a week between my commute, daily errands and getting to the soccer pitch. Probably run another 3-4 miles from soccer alone.
After leg day tomorrow, I’ll be 2 weeks into the Lyle McDonald plan. So far so good.
Still got another 11 weeks of my current set up (biking to work, lifting, soccer etc). When I move apts at the start of summer I’ll likely do less biking but I’ll be playing more soccer.
By the end of this month I should have fully transitioned to morning lifting (still waiting on my bike rack to come in).
On an unrelated note, your boy gotta start PT for my right ankle. Soccer injury and the tendon on my inner ankle is slightly tender. I’m already flat footed but the injury got my ankle slightly caving in
I can still play soccer with no pain though
