First day of logging workout in notebook was a success. Clear handwriting and solid notes on form and pain in knees

Maybe you can shine a light on what’s happening

started out with back squats and the pain wasn’t debilitating but it felt like I was on stilts. Did two or three reps at each weight increment with a considerable amount of rest time. I switched to front squats and the pain was barely noticeable. Also walking lunges with light weights didnt make me grimace. It’s only at the bottom of the squat when I hit parallel that I feel discomfort.
And outside of just not working out legs, what would you suggest?
For the next month, I won’t be as active as I have to audit my companies records so my only physical activity will be at the gym
wedmd suggest it’s either cancer or Patellofemoral pain syndrome which just says to rest and stretch

Looks like it’s walking briskly around the mall in a windbreaker outfit and body weight squats for mePatellofemoral syndrome falls under the runner's knee diagnosis umbrella. It's possible you have that and maybe something else too.

OkSquatting is one of the repetitive motions that both causes and can further aggravate runner's knee. I wouldn't even do the prison squats tbh. Ask @Lavista what them air squats did for his gains.
Maybe if you just chilled the fukk out and took it easy you could get back in the game faster. Your ass staying doing the most during practice then can't suit up during game day.
At the end of the day I know you'll do what you want (as you should). Not his knees, not his business.
These leggings be capppppppppppin
Ok
Imma take an entire month off from any leg movements and cardio. Just stretching and foam rolling.
