This is kinda what I meant.

Let’s say for example your number is 1000 and you aim for 1400. You’re 400 over. Throw in some proton supplements in there, which range from like 110 to 1200 caltoies a serving, depending on the specific brand and type. Now you’re actually in a big caloric surplus instead if the deficit you beed to be in for cutting.

Furthermore, the need to increase protein intake to slake muscle wasting during cutting is usually more pronounced in leaner individuals with less body fat from what I know; they don’t really have any significance source of fuel but to break down existing muscle tissue.

I would worry about getting rid of as much body fat as you want then reassessing what your next goal/plan is. It you’ve only lifted for 6 months (ever) there will be plenty of noob gains to go.

Cutting fat and building muscle simultaneously is possible but can be extremely difficult, especially if you don’t know how to manipulate your macros and training accordingly.

Lose the weight first then focus on brolic-ing out. :obama:

I think he was talking protein, man…:dwillhuh:
Speaking of protein, been trying various off the shelf brands at Walmart outside of Optimum which I have had many times.

I decided to grab some Body Fortress Chocolate Whey....The person who signed off on the flavoring must have had the rona. Terrible! I basically chug this. Taking 2 2scoop servings a day to run trough it currently.

Pure Protein Powder...terrible flavor profile.

Surprisingly enough, Equate Isolate tasted GAF in Choc and Vanilla. The price went up 3 bucks recently from $16.76-$19.76

Because I'm cheap, I'll usually pick up a tub here or there when I'm getting food. I've used it for a while and I've cut over 20 lb of covid fat, my blood work was great and my doctor was like don't change a thing.

I still get free supplements from my old company that I worked for and I have friends that own nutrition stores, but sometimes I just don't feel like bothering them.

It seems like you got the resources and outlets to get better stuff, so I'm just gonna drop my opinion cause I feel like having a "listen to me moment"............ The one thing I don't cheap out on is my health. If I got the means to get/afford good stuff I'm copping it. Food and nutrients win out over everything. Of course I didn't come to that realization over night..... so hopefully what I'm saying can give you a "perspective nudge".

Here I am trying to provide sage advice while I'm literally stuffing my face with some Caribbean pastries here in the islands...... :hhh::pachaha:

Weak ass creh came and messed with the weights on my rack three times, either taking shyt off or putting shyt back on. Two other racks had nobody in em.
:shaq2:

Third time when he was loading the bar I took that shyt right back off before he could put the clip on and told him nah, we not doing that.
:mjlol:

Then dude wanted to low-key talk shyt on his phone call that he was on.
:rudy:

I told him keep talking shyt and we gonna have to step this shyt outside.
:demonic:

Dude hit the :whoa: and proceeded to incline bench his 115 with shaky-ass arms.

fukk around and find out being too lazy to go look for your hoe weights elsewhere, cacs.
